Trip to Tokyo, Japan 2016: Day 1

I went on a trip to Tokyo, Japan during the Chinese New Year break early this year and I really enjoyed myself. The weather was rather freezing at -4Âșc at certain places!

Entrance to the Asakusa Temple

Many other tourists were here too!

Sakura slowly blooming bit by bit

I cannot recall what was this, but it was very delicious! Simple & quick lunch!

Intelligent parking machine. In Japan, people tend to be more independent but highly dependent on machines.

A mosque (Asakusa Mosque) in the middle of the city centre. Located on a very quiet street.

Street in Ameyoko Ueno. Where live seafood, vegetables and fruits are sold along the streets.

In the street of Akihabara. Where all the animes are located.

Dinner here at The Manhattan Fish Market in Ikebukuro. Menu was similar to the menu in Malaysia, tasted the same too. Very close to our hotel, Sunshine City Prince Hotel.

Sunshine City is a renowned shopping complex, rather big. The Prince Hotel is attached to the mall along with several office towers.

After dinner, I popped over to Starbucks and grabbed a hot drink and walk in the freezing night weather back to the hotel. It's relatively safe in Japan as everyone walks to their destinations.

END OF DAY 1
