Trip to Tokyo, Japan 2016: Day 2
Day 2 of Tokyo Trip 2016
2 hour drive to Mt. Fuji
Below our hotel, there was the famous Japanese 'Family Mart', similar to our 7-Eleven chain stores. This was my first time seeing iTunes gift cards along with Android Play Store gift cards being sold as we do not have them in Malaysia. Family Mart sells all sorts of things, from necessities to food.
Mt. Fuji hiding in the clouds.
My first time encountering snow. Such a beautiful sight.

Nice crispy fish! Cheap and tasty. Nice to eat in the freezing weather.
For lunch, I went to this restaurant. Not many people and fairly quiet.
The lunch set was lovely. Soft naan, delicious rice accompanied by Lamb Curry and Chicken Curry. Topped with a bowl of traditional indian dessert.
My drink was a glass of orange juice.
Price: <¥2000/ lunch set
After lunch, I went to the Gotemba Premium Outlets to do some shopping. Popped by the Bose store and got myself some excellent headphones.
It's much cooler to shop here in Winter than shop at the Johor Premium Outlets in Malaysia.
After a very long day, I decided to opt for a Malaysian Cuisine Bento Set Dinner and eat it at the hotel after a hot shower.
Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice), Sweet Sour Fish, Chicken, Acar (marinated fruits), Peanuts & Anchovies (fried), 2 sticks of Satay + Peanut Sauce and a Curry Puff.
It may not look a lot but the portion was huge! The Bento box was big!
